My favorite photo of us..........

I have FINALLY gotten this photo scrapped! It is one of my fav's of DH and I.....we rarely get really good photo's together. This one was taken September 2007 at
The Cambrian Suites. We were so relaxed and just having a great time.

Okay so about the LO. I used AMM and Bo Bunny papers, CTMH stamps and inks, Cosmo Cricket Button Chipboard (love the stuff) and of course my ever so favorite GLITTER by Martha Stewart. I just love the bling! Anyhoo , enjoy!

A glimpse of my Past........

Way back when I was a young lady my parents felt it would be safer to raise us children (5 of us) in a small town instead of the big city of Brooklyn, New York. So just weeks before my 8th birthday We moved, lock, stock and barrell! The five of us was in total culture shock as going to Spring Hill was so different, we were used to catholic school not public, and fast talking and fast moving New York, but in Spring Hill you could literally watch blades of Grass grow just to pass the time away of this VERY small town. As the years went by we realized it wasn't so bad, we spent alot of family quality time together and learned to use our imaginations to play. But in this very small town there was the town library that also provided the community a place to hold small classes...one of those classes I faithfully attended with my mom and sister was a Ceramics class. I made many of things there.....and once a year in the late spring time they held the famous "Chicken Pluckin Contest" in where Spring Hill and Masarick town plucked the feathers off of dead chickens to see who could pluck the fastest! This was held right there on the grounds of the
"Lil Red School House". There were many games and things to do at this two day festival and it was the best times of my childhood! The community
Center was right next door and that is where my sisters wedding reception was held, it was the fanciest place to have a special event in that very small town.....on the other side of the School house was a baseball field where I played many of City Softball games where I was a catcher for Suncoast Ecologist for 4 years! Recently on a trip down to Florida my younger brother, who still resides in that now very LARGE town took my sister to that Lil Red School House and it is still as pretty as ever, she took this photo just last year....and is still home to that world famous "Chicken Pluckin Contest" held every spring. That building/grounds holds some very special memories for me and its some of my fondest... Enjoy!

Grow......

So back in September my Nephew Nick and his wife gave me a beautiful Great Niece
Lil Miss AnaBelle. What a total DOLL!!! She looks very much like both of them. When Nick was a baby you just couldn't separate us....I took him EVERYWHERE with me and he used to say in the cutest little boy voice, Haunt Tida you my Baabbbyyyy. So cute when they are learning to talk! Well here we have his off spring and I am sure I would take her everywhere too if they lived close.....like McD's and Kmart for a toy...something I did with Nick every Saturday.....So here is my little AnaBelle Pepper! Isn't she cute!!! I used CTMH papers and Inks, MFT Stampset Boho blossoms
Chipboard painted in magenta paint then sprinkled in Glitter!!!! I have a very funny glitter story I will share with you next time......(btw, DH watched me make this LO and was just waiting to see what would happen with the glitter when he saw me pull it out of the cabinet! LOL!! Have a great Day!

Shadow box card

Okay this is such a fun card to make! It reminds me of these really cute eggs made of sugar my Nona (grandmother) used to get us when we were young. They had a little hole at the front and inside was a cute little scene all made from sugar! Those were the days! Anyway here is a cute little shadow box card made from all CTMH papers, stampsets and inks. I just love this stuff! Have a happy day!
