I know, I haven't posted in awhile BUT I have a great excuse! First my DD graduated from High School....with Honors I might add....


Then we went on this Ultra Fabulous 8 day Vacation to Southern California.

Disneyland
Universal Studios (not really impressed)
San Diego Zoo
SeaWorld...totally LOVED this








We had the best Vacation Ever!!! so here are a few photos....I will be back next week to post some new creations! Sorry I haven't been around, but this family really needed a good vacation! See you next week!~

Well I haven't posted in awhile because my Mom is in town for our DD's Graduation and I have been busy, busy, busy!!! Can't believe it is here...where did the time go??? Anyhow I did manage to get a few layouts done last week so i thought I would post it here.....as soon as things settle down a bit I will post my cupcake cards on Fridays again! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Summer!

Well at least it feels that way! getting into the 90's for a few days and thought I would make something summery to go with it! So here we have a stampset that I have had for a bit and had to make something with it! I got the sketch from http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ so here is my version of the sketch!




I just love the bright colors! The stampset is from Archivers by Hero Arts and the saying is also another Hero Arts set. The papers are actually from my stash, which is always nice to use up! Anyhoo, Have a Cool Day!!!

Prom Princess.........

Well it finally came and DD looked so BEAUTIFUL!!! She had an absolutely wonderful time at her Senior Prom and we couldn't be prouder! Her date was very handsome too! Here is a photo of them....They had a Night to remember! The theme was "The way you look tonight"...and did she ever....Oh , Proud Mommy Daddy moment. The first photo of is of DD and her date, the second of her before they arrived, the last is of her , her date, and two of her gal friends Before Prom and the very last is after Prom...look at those smiles! They had a Rockin time! Congrats beautiful Daughter!

Too funny!

Okay so my sister is over 40 and is a victim of Presbeopia (sp), you know long arm syndrom when your reading! LOL!! So when she is over, which is often, and has to read something and doesn't have her glass she tries to read it pushing it way out as far as she can extend or has one of us read it. If she has her glasses with her she'll say , "Oh wait, I have to get my glasses."......well my dd is taking typing classes in school and decided to put an Added note to my sisters Mother's day card. The actual card is a regular sized card that is pink. Then she typed this note to her and taped it to the center of the card....Which we all found quite funny. But the kicker was she said to me, "I used the number 72 (font) so Aunt Roro can see the type without her glasses"......So on Mom's Day we went over to Roro's house and she gave it to her....Rose says, "Wait let me get my glasses." Liv says, "Oh no Aunt Roro, you won't need them, you'll see" So Rose opened the card and Man did she laugh! So she brought it over to our house later on so I could get this picture of them to post on my blog! Too funny! Enjoy!

Cupcake Friday!!

Okay so really it is Saturday but we have been busy getting ready for Prom ! Oh to be young again. LOL!!

SSSSoooooooo, Here is the latest Cupcake card. I LOVE this diecut by Quickutz. It even came with a cake die as well which I am sure I see using in my future. But as for this card, I took the challenge by Taylor VanBruggen on her blog with this sketch. So easy peasy and loved the results! Mother's Day Gate Card

So sorry I haven't updated! We had a 2 day yardsale this past weekend which took days to get ready....and then I went on a Fabulous Field Trip with DD's class where we rode a Horse drawn covered wagon to a ghost town! It was alot of fun.....

But now back to work. First let me apologize for not getting to my Cupcake Friday but I will be back tomorrow with that!!! This Gate Card was a challenged posted on TheShakerbox.com and I totally had a great time making 4 of these for the Mom's in my life! I hope you have a great day!~ Enjoy!

Cupcake Friday!!

So I have decided to join the ranks and make Friday's Cupcake fridays! I just LOVE these Stamps from Hero Arts! I actually scraplifted this from a fellow scrapper, mine is just a pinch different But I totally loved it and knew I needed to make one too! I used Scraps of cardstock, CTMH Inks and Markers , Stickles Glitter glue and various ribbons from my stash! Enjoy and Happy Cupcake Friday!

Oh this STANKIN cute Owl! I love it! My sister was down in Florida last month and went to a Scrappin Expo and while she was there called me on the cell to ask If I wanted anything....so I jumped on the computer and scanned through the dies at Sizzix and she found this owl! What a sister! Anyhoo, so here is what I came up with! And my sister brought me other goodies too! Thanks Sis!

My Space!

I have people ask what my scrapspace looks like so I thought I would post a photo of it. My DH built this desk for me and I LOVE IT!!! Three drawers cabinets on bottom and three double cabinets up top. It stors all my scrappy stuff...did I say I LOVE
IT!



I have added my diecut holders and a few things to the counter, but they remove easy if I want it clear!

Biker Babe!!!

Okay so about a year ago we decided we wanted some fun toys! So we bought a 4 wheeler! WHAT A BLAST! I love that thing.....we just made need another so I give DH a turn on it! LOL!!!

Anyhoo, here are three layouts I have made using HannaStamps Route 66, so darn cute! That is me on the 4 wheeler and the day was so beautiful!
I have used Bazzill Cardstock, PP is stash, Belt stamp, Ticket Tags and Be happy stampsets are CTMH, CTMH inks, Marvy Punch. ENjoy!

Our Birthday!!!

So last night DH and I celebrated our birthday! This was the one night we could all get together so My sister invited us to her place for a birthday celebration! Thanks sis, we had a great time!!!!!! here it is....

Here is DH with the card I made him.....
She said, "Honey, hold up the card I made ya!"
He said, "No way, I don't want to give you more stuff to scrap!"
She said, "Oh come on!!"
He said, "No" with an evil grin
DD solved it, she held up the card and I got a photo anyway! LOL!!!



Okay, here is my sister, she knows I HATE THAT TEE SHIRT!!! but she loves it and wore it to our party, just to get my goose!! So I told her I would take a photo of it and post it on my blog! so she posed for the photo....don't you love her eyes in this one! LOL!~! Love ya sis!


And last, Our cake! Our dd called the local Country radio station that we listen too and won our birthday cake! Way to go honey!!! It was very yummy!

Chipboard storage solution!!!!

After Searching for what seems an ETERNITY! I have found the solution for my Alpha chipboard!!! Yep Stor in Style RIBBON HOLDER!!! I was at M's yesturday with my sister and we were walking down an isle and I saw this box with a photo...could this be the END to my QUEST????? I think so!!!! Now to save up for a few more for ALL my OTHER chipboard! LOL!!! Okay so how GENIOUS is THIS?????????? Leave me some love and let me know what you think!!! (FYI...I used 10 compartments per storage...so it took 3 for the entire alpha and 4 leftover slots that I used for numbers. The slots are moveable!)

A Cyber Quilt show!

As I said I would share some quilts that I have made, so here they are! Enjoy!

This first one is a Sampler that I made for me!



This is an absolute favorite of mine, it was so fun to hand stitch all those cute ducks!


This one I made for my youngest Daughter, working on the back ...It is called Jewel Box, VERY fun to make! Love those brights!


This one I made for my eldest daughter but I don't like the red fabrics...it is all 30's replica fabrics...now she wants Cowgirl theme, just got the material in Emmitt of all places, just looking for the right pattern....not sure what I'll do with this one....sigh.....



Love this "Little" quilt...the pattern came from "little quilts". Yes the pieces were tiny but I love a good challenge!



This next one is a cute yoyo pattern I made for my youngest , lots of fun to make, just a wall quilt.


THe last one for today and my all time favorite for its cheeriness, I made for my eldest who was born with a smile on her face that has never left!
