Hi all, sorry I have not posted in a couple of weeks but it has been kinda weird here lately. First our neighbor collapsed and my DH and I tried to revive him but it was to late.....

Then our computer keyboard and mouse fried so we had to wait for the new ones and I am happy to say it only took Dell 24 hours to have a new set out to us! Yeah Dell!
And thirdly we have been having some kinda weather out here! Whew SNOW, SNOW, and more SNOW coupled with High Winds!
On a happier note my DH bought us tickets to go see Brad Paisley, Rodney Atkins and Chuck Wikes in concert and MAN WAS it GOOD!!! We had a great time and if you wanna go see a good show, BP is awesome, I suspect he will bump Kenny from Entertainer of the Year....Great job!

So Here I have two new projects to share, hope you enjoy!!!! First is a double layout of my DD visiting Gma's and Gpa's farm ....She LOVES horses so she was definitely in her glories!
I have used all CTMH products (my link is on the sidebar) with the exception of Cosmo Crickets Bare Naked Chipboard that I painted and Sprinkled with Martha Stewart Glitter......
Cosmo is a sponsor over at The SHaker Box, where I am a design team member, there stuff ROCKS!

The second is a 6x6 Card that has a surprise pop up box ! How fun is that! It is totally fun to make......I have used ALL CTMH papers Inks and stampsets. The papers are called Just Chillin, which is what I'm gonna go do! Have a great day friends!

20th Wedding Anniversary.........

Yep, 20 years...WOW! We had the most wonderful evening. Fine dining and wonderful conversation.....very romantic evening with my husband. He took me to a fancy restaurant downtown and wined and dined me. It was a very special evening. I have to say probably one of the best in my life next to my wedding day. Here we are before going out.
20 years is a long time these days, and I wouldn't change a thing, he is a very good man and has my heart in his hands........................ Have a blessed day.

Non Traditional Valentines Card

I have always told my husband to never give me a heart for a gift because everytime a former boyfriend did , we broke up! So we have always avoided Hearts for Valentines day especially!

So here is my Non traditional Valentine Card using tradtional colors! I have used

Close to My heart inks in Blush and Holiday Red. Various Ribbons from my stash, and my Marvy Scalloped punch that I love so much! LOL! Stampsets used are from Paper Trey .

Thanks for looking!

New Look!

Okay so I had to change the look with the new year! I hope you like it! I really like brown and pumpkin colors so enjoy! Will post more new stuff a little later! Have a good one!

Layered Cards

All the new rage....I am seeing them in everyone's blogs! Layered cards with multiple ribbons!
Here is a new card for today. I am loving the layered look on cards. If you haven't tried it yet , you may want to, but careful.....they become addicting!
I have used Cosmo Cricket papers, Marvvy Punch, and Close to my heart Stamp and Ink!

Here is a layout I just completed for my DT assignment using Papertrey Stampsets.
I used Papertreys:
Beautiful Blossoms, and Faux Ribbon.
Close to my Heart
Library card.

Scraps of paper, Marvvy Scalloped punch (my new favorite toys!) and sizzix dies. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!!!

Hello Friends! Welcome to 2008! On New Years Eve it is my usual tradition (for about 4 years now) to scrap with my sister until Dick Clark's Rockin Eve comes on at 11:30pm ....well we didn't scrap! Instead we just had good ole fashion family fun with my girls and my hubby.....Surround with the people I love! We ate like Kings too! Shrimp Scampi, King Crab legs (thank you Larry! He actually fishes them from the Berring Sea) Salad and Homemade Pecan Pie! Whew! Very good!
So since I didn't get to scrap on New Years Eve, I made my first 2 layouts on New Years DAY! The papers are Cosmo Crickets Gretel Line and the Buck Naked Chipboard! Love those! This year in 2008 my goal is to post many projects in my blog (keeping my gift of gab to a minimum!)
So keep checking back......
The subjects of my pages are two beautiful gals! One is my Eldest Daughter who is a "big Senior" this year and it is her Casual Photo and the other is my New Beautiful Great Niece! Her Daddy is my Nephew and my Godson! She is just so adorable! Anyhoo, I choose to do blocking with my GNieces LO and one photo only for my DD. Enjoy!
